Already 10 months since our move to Lausanne! And we only got around to throwing our first welcome dinner - for our latest PhD student, Arsenii, and a super belated welcome to Shivali and Gilles. What better way to enjoy each other's company than to gather over a large plate of food and eat from it together!
The Vastenhouw lab also welcomed Max Hess for the day. Max joined us from Lucas Pelkmans lab, University of Zürich to discuss about his research and using iterative indirect immunofluorescence imaging (4i), a high-throughput imaging approach that combines multiplexing and computer vision
to quantify protein organization in single cells. Very fruitful and insightful day of scientific discussions between the two labs!
